Asos Teams Up With HarperCollins!

I was very excited when I received an email from the people at HarperCollins explaining that they will be teaming up with fashion website Asos to bring a whole batch of bookish goodies with a fashion twist. This was like music to my ears. Here are a list of the titles that will be released under this partnership.

The Carrie Diaries by Candace Bushnell: (I'm currenty reading this and loving it!)
The Carrie Diaries is the coming-of-age story of one of the most iconic characters of our generation – ‘Sex and the City’ star Carrie Bradshaw. Best-selling author Candace Bushnell is the creator of ‘Sex and the City’ – the global phenomenon that began as a column in the New York Observer and went on to become a cult hit TV series, best-selling novel and a box office smash movie in 2008 (with a sequel currently being filmed for release May 2010).

Candypop: Candy and the Broken Biscuits by Lauren Laverne:
Candypop: Candy and the Broken Biscuits is the story of Candy Caine, a funny (undiscovered) rock chick, going on a rollercoaster ride to the world's biggest music festival. Debut author Lauren Laverne is a well-known TV presenter, highly regarded and award-winning within the music industry.

I Remember You by Harriet Evans:
Rich, witty and moving, I Remember You is the new bestseller from Harriet Evans – perfect for anyone who dreams about a new life, and for anyone who still remembers their first love… Harriet Evans is the author of three previous novels, Going Home, A Hopeless Romantic and The Love of Her Life, all of which were bestsellers.

I heart Paris by Lindsey Kelk:
I heart Paris is the latest instalment in Lindsey Kelk's "I heart..." series and sees heroine Angela Clark in the city of love – but romance is taking a nose-dive…Lindsey Kelk’s previous titles, I heart New York and I heart Hollywood, shot straight into the paperback top twenty at one of the most competitive times of year.

Scandalous by Tilly Bagshawe: (Yay, a book with my name in it!)
Sasha and Theresa, both feeling betrayed by famous Professor Theo Dexter, become allies in their thirst for revenge in Tilly Bagshawe’s new book Scandalous. Tilly Bagshawe is an internationally bestselling novelist, with her first book, Adored, having been a smash hit on both sides of the Atlantic in 2007.

Fortune by Megan Cole:
In Megan Cole’s Fortune mega-rich Brad is eager to find an heir for his fortune and invites his three illegitimate daughters to his sixtieth birthday party. Megan Cole has used the inside information gleaned from years as a celebrity journalist to create the world of Fortune. This is her first novel for teenagers.

This amazing campaign was planned by Sarah Benton, Children’s Senior Marketing Manager and Lucy Upton, Head of Fiction Marketing at HarperCollins, Evelyn Ojo at ASOS.com and Alice Cosgrove at Walker Media, as a joint venture between the teen and women’s commercial fiction lists at HarperCollins and also the first publishing media partnership for ASOS.com.

Sarah Benton, Senior Marketing Manager at HarperCollins Children’s Books says, “We have been all been looking for an opportunity to work with ASOS.com for some time, as we knew we had the perfect books for their audience on both our teen and women’s fiction lists. The titles selected have the biggest crossover in terms of audience so we are hugely excited to be working together to promote HarperCollins’s summer fiction as the ultimate must-have accessories.”

This woman obviously knows what she's talking about! Three out of these six titles are Yound Adult and therefore spark my interest! Can't. Wait. To. Read.
